The 40 Below Cold Weather Bottle™ in the 2.0 Liter size. A favorite bottle series for winter use, high altitude, and extreme cold expeditions for several decades.

Please see below for additional information and specifications.

The 40 Below Cold Weather Bottles™ are THE trusted water bottle for extreme cold environments. Preferred (and even required by some guides) by experienced cold weather climbers and explorers.

A solid performer for decades on trips and expeditions to the highest and coldest places. A slightly flexible body allows for the ability to grip the bottle better, and compress the sides to crack off any accumulated ice build up. The lid has large ribs on the outside so you can get a firm grip, making it easier to open with mittens or gloves on.

Pictured above is the lid with the ribs that help get a solid grip to open!

Because of the slightly flexible PE material they are made with, and design of the lid, they don’t have the tendency to crack in the cold as others do.

These bottles also weigh less than many other expedition grade bottles.

The bottles can handle hot liquids from melting snow into water.

Formerly known as the Hunersdorf bottle.

They fit perfectly in the Forty Below® 1.0 Liter size Bottle Boots™!
