We warrant for one year from purchase date and only to the original retail buyer that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship.
If buyer discovers a covered defect, buyer should deliver the product to us at the address provided. We will repair or replace the product free of charge. That is the extent of our liability under this Warranty and, upon expiration of the applicable warranty period, all liability shall terminate.
Warranty Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, crampon use or abuse, improper care, modification, negligence, accident, the natural breakdown of materials, or if the product is used for a purpose for which it was not designed are not covered by the Forty Below, Ltd warranty. Except for expressly stated in this Warranty, we shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or other types of damages arising out of, or resulting from the use of this Product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
Forty Below® Overboots are designed for a snow environment and to be used with crampons. They also make good camp boots, but care must be taken on icy terrain, as they are not designed to provide traction without crampons. Some aspects of mountaineering and related activities including, but not limited to, snow travel, ice and snow climbing and skiing, are potentially hazardous and may cause serious injury or death. Any person using Forty Below® products, in any manner, is personally responsible for learning the proper techniques involved, and assumes all risks, and accepts full and complete responsibility for any and all damages or injury of any kind including death, which may result from the use of equipment purchased from Forty Below or any of it’s distributors.
