The 40 Below Cold Weather Bottles™ in four sizes. The favorite for high altitude and extreme cold expeditions for several decades. Fit perfectly in the Forty Below® Bottle Boot Covers™.
The 40 Below Cold Weather Bottles™ are THE trusted water bottle for extreme cold environments. Preferred by experienced cold weather climbers and explorers (and even required by some guides).
A solid performer for decades on trips and expeditions to the highest and coldest places. Their slightly flexible body allows for the ability to grip the bottle better, and compress the sides to crack off any accumulated ice build up. The lid has large ribs on the outside so you can get a firm grip, making it easier to open with mittens or gloves on.
Key Features
- Lid with ribs that help get a solid grip to open!
- Because of the slightly flexible PE material of which they are made, and design of the lid, they don’t have the tendency to crack in the cold as others do.
- These bottles weigh less than many other expedition grade bottles.
- These bottles can handle hot liquids from melting snow into water.
- Formerly known as the Hunersdorf bottle.
- They fit perfectly in the Forty Below® Bottle Boots™!
